Lil' Bro and Big Bro!

Ky and Kutter were playing on the trampoline the other night (Koal was in Ruidoso) and I couldn't help but grab my camera! They were having so much fun and Ky is so good with him.

This was right before Ky almost bounced him off the tramp. I about had a heart attack! He is pretty rough with him, but I guess it will make him tough!

Oklahoma City Memorial

While we were in Oklahoma City, the thing I wanted to see the most was the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial. It was so pretty and peaceful. All of the chairs represent each person that lost their life in the bombing.
Look at this picture closely. Notice the smaller chair. The smaller chairs represent all the children that died in the bombing. Very hard to see. (Look at the bird...That's cool!) The water you see in the background is the reflection pool.

There were four chalkboards that you could write messages on for the family's of the victims. Ky wrote a message.

These were tiles that children from all over the US painted. What a cool place to visit. Very educational for my boys too. We need to be thankful for everything we have!

Three point contest!

Koal was picked to be in the Three point contest again this year! He did much better than he did last year. He had 30 seconds to make as many three pointers as he could. He made six and one at the buzzer. The YOUNG girl keeping score did not give Koal the last one but she gave all of the kids after him theirs! You had to make 7 to make it to the next round so Koal was out and boy was he bummed! O well......life lesson. Life is not always fair!

We are proud of you Koal!

Football Camp

Koal went to football camp last week in Abilene. He was only gone for two days, but it was a very long two days for mom! This was the first time he has been to an overnight camp without an adult staying in his room! I know he is going to be in 7th grade but he still dosen't seem old enough.
